Email to Filing functionality is a simple way of saving emails relating to a client to filing in CWT.
The process uses the Client ID and the CWT URL to identify the Client profile and the XPLAN site.
Using your client's CWT Client ID and the CWT URL, e.g. 3308653@cwt.xplan.iress.com.au
CWT functionality allows for forwarding of emails from your inbox to CWT filing.
The Client ID can be found in the CWT URL in any of the client's profile pages, or through the Client Snapshot page, using the ID only, not the Year.
Tip: Set up the CWT email for your client as a 2nd email in Outlook/Gmail or export a list of client names and Client IDs from CWT and save on your desktop as an easy reference point for accessing the Client ID.
Automatic Type and Sub-Type Mapping
Functionality exists whereby using particular subjects in your email will allow for the automatic classification of the Note Type and Sub-Type.
The table below shows the automatic mapping that has been set up in CWT. If you use the below email subject lines in the emails you are forwarding to your client's CWT ID, they will be automatically filed to the corresponding Note Type and Sub-Type.
