What is the difference between the Implement and Record options?

The Record option will record the policy against the client’s existing client focus insurances, however it will be marked as “Recommended” not “Inforce”. 

The Implement option will implement the policy into the client’s current insurance and set it as “Inforce”.  If you do this whilst completing the Advice Builder Wizard, the insurance will merge into the Advice Document as an existing policy.  Therefore, it’s important you only select this option once the recommendations have been implemented and not before.

It’s recommended you do not use either of these options whilst making recommendations as it has the potential to throw your data out when merged into the Advice Document.
