Firstly, You will need "Modify All Tasks'','' Modify All Clients'', and ''Modify Anything to All Clients'' capabilities on your logon to use bulk modify tasks functionality.

Please note this is a cautionary functionality as the user will have the capability to bulk-modify any data for all clients.

Please allow one user per practice to have this capability for client management, please contact Xplan support to request this capability.

 

Once you have the "Modify All Tasks" capability, navigate to Admin => Site => Tasks

Step 1: Change the List option to ''All Tasks'' or other options=> select the correct range=>modify other fields in the search filter panel if needed to filter out a list of tasks you wish to modify=> Click Search

Step 2: Select the top tickbox to bulk-select the tasks

Step 3: Click ''Modify All'' button 

Step 4: Change the Parameters.

You can change the status of the tasks to Complete, Pending, Actioned, and so on. If you wish to archive the tasks, it is better to select ''Aborted''

You can also bulk modify the type, subtype and due date of tasks as shown in the list.
